People can only meet us at the depths in which they've met themselves.
That's why, when we grieve, it all feels so very lonely. Who could ever meet someone (or want to) at these depths?
After all, we spend the majority of our lives seeking the exact opposite: to experience love, joy, peace, happiness, fulfillment - so what do we do with the massive, empty hole we are left with when we experience grief?
The bad news is: the deepest depths of our heart are carved from the greatest losses we survive.
The not-so-bad news is: at the center of grief, is a spot where your truth echoes.
