There were some loose ends I forgot to tie, so they are now - in the last chapter ^^. I must say I didn't expect the new text to have such a heavy aftertaste. I made some anti-cringe changes to the rest of the chapter, too xD.
          And, as of last Friday, I'm working on a .... SEQUEL! :D *gasp*
          Yes, so if everything goes well, you should have more to read :)). The first draft of TC took me several months, so it won't come too soon, but it's IN PROGRESS :)).
          I hope some of you will come back for more ♥

I reworked ch.23 (Fickle luck), adding almost 1k words - feelings, sensations. Reading a friend's fic really inspired me to enrich the moment, because it's a very important one! Enjoy ♥
          (Also fixed some minor mistakes throughout the whole text.)

The Casualty got a huge rehaul (still working on it, but the main stuff is done) - typos, grammar & stylistic mistakes hopefully eradicated; I polished not just language, but the plot as well, added more volume, more meaning, rounded everything up better.
          I might even have gotten a link to my story to Casey Biggs himself - but if he chooses to read it, that's a big question :D. If he does, I really hope he reaches out with some feedback - who else than "Damar" himself to judge the story, right? ^^
          In the meantime, please enjoy the pleasant changes and stay tuned for extra chapters - once I finish polishing the main story, I already have a pile of ideas for what to write next! ;)

I added some books to my public reading list - to show appreciation for the authors who wrote them and to guide you to some works I think are worth reading. Most could use some language polishing, but the contents oveweigh the typos and cringe - the stories got me invested, got me to finish the whole texts, which is saying a lot :D I've started reading numerous things just to run away from them fast. These... are something else :).
          Special shoutout to Cannoness (Vampire's Pet, Love & Loss), as her ability to describe sensations and feelings are unparalleled and I have much to learn from her! ♥

I'm finishing up the last chapter of The Casualty ^^. The last third of the story needs more editing, I'm aware, but my mind is already drifting in a different direction and I need to give this story an ending it deserves, even if it's imperfect for now. I'm sure I will be coming back to this text, making improvements, maybe rewriting a little (because I always do that with the stories I love), but for now my greatest accomplishment will be getting it all done and published before I'm no longer able to. I hope you enjoy the ending even with its flaws :).
