Hey, everyone! I know no one’s probably going to read this, but I’ve got a new project in the works. I don’t plan on releasing it until I’ve finished every chapter because I want to finally say I’ve completed a book that’s at least somewhat decent. But that’s beside the point. I hope you’re all doing well! Here’s the best snippet of how the story will go. "Jared, you should release your music," Seraphine said, leaning casually against the desk. "It's amazing. It could seriously blow up."
Jared glanced up from his laptop, a hint of doubt clouding his face. "Maybe," he muttered, his fingers tapping idly on the keyboard. "But I don't know... it doesn't feel good enough yet, you know?"
Seraphine raised an eyebrow. "You're always your toughest critic."
He gave a faint chuckle and returned his focus to the screen, where the cursor blinked next to an essay question: *What do you see yourself becoming in the future?*
"College is almost over," Jared murmured, more to himself than to Seraphine. "Guess we'll see where I end up."
She tilted her head, watching him. "You'd better not keep that talent locked away," she said softly, her voice laced with encouragement.
Jared paused, letting her words linger momentarily, before resuming his work with a small smile tugging at his lips.
