Yo. Yes, I'm the REAL Maximum Ride. I prefer Max of course. I'm 15, and I live with my flock, Fang(14), Iggy (14), Nudge (11), Gasman  (don't ask) 8, and Angel (6)

We all have wings, a result of genetic experiments, and lately, we've been getting new powers. Like me and my rocket speed, Iggy can feel colors even though he's blind, or Angel, who can read minds. Stuff like that. 

We ran away from the School, a torture prison, im sorry "reasearch facility", when we were younger. Good thing too, because if we were still there, we'd be dead. Of course, more hardships are in our way, like wolf mutations, Erasers. Or phsyco whitecoats who try to get us back, or my father turned bad turned good turned my not-so-much-trusted father, Jeb. It's complicated. 

We all have superhuman strength, and speed. We can run at 60 miles an hour, and we can fly at 120. Being 2% bird, we have raptor eyesight, thin bones and bodies(thus we have to eat A LOT!!!!!!) and we are all pretty tall. Iggy, who's six months younger than me, has come to be 6'3! Or me, I'm 5'10 or 5'9. I don't know.

In the last few years, we've tried to find out who our parents are, but we found Nudge's mom, but she's awful. Gassy and Angel know their mom sold them, Iggy's mom and dad wanted to turn him into a circus freak, and Fang's mom was a teenaged girl. Not very good parents (OW Fang!) I guess I'm the only one with parents that are like actual parents. Dr.Martinez, and my father, kind of, Jeb. We have a complicated relationship. (see above) I have an amazing half sister, Ella, and my deseased brother Ari. (clears throat) Anyway...

So yah, enjoy human life, it's the exact opposite for us.
