Eclipse is a great one. If you're going to try a character from the comics, I highly recommend him. Brothers in Arms is getting regular weekly updates, too, which I can't say for any of my other stories (it's mostly prewritten). If you just want to get to know the character, though, he appears in Sonic Universe 59-62 and 67-70.
