To answer your question, I really like doing third person as an opening and closing to really show that this is the end. It's not just about Avery. That other people are possibly viewing it. It's my way of really starting and ending a story, and it feels kind of weird to just open with "My name is Avery and I'm about to be captured by Superman" (or well.. something better, but you know what I mean!)
          I know it doesn't always fit with the story, but sometimes I think it's a little strange not to do it that way now :))
