@professorstein It depends on the form of infection... If it is a simple bite or scratch and nothing more, 24 hours. If I eat off a limb, 20 hours. If I eat some /and/ spit on the wound, 12 hours. If they bite me or somehow eat my DNA, 48 hours.

*he smiles* the disease seems very effective, how lonng does it generally take to invade the whole system? 

@professorstein That is the basic principle... Usually it works on the skin cells first, forcing them into decay and making the person look like a corpse before brain death.

*nods* right...then does the DNA take on a parasitic role? Invading other cells or it's source of life, concluding to the death of hat cell and the spread of the infecton source?

@professorstein Those are the easiest, but not the only means of infection. As long as my DNA ends up inside of them, they can be infected. If they injest my saliva or if /they/ bite /me/ they also become infected.
