          “Sela all but gasped as a hand wrapped around her wrist and yanked her away from the blue-eyed fish man on the bed. She tumbled into the front of her mother's protective grip across her chest, breaking their brief eye contact. And much to all of their surprises, the man shot up on the bed.
          
          His pink lips curled over his white teeth as he bared them in a warning hiss. The dark strands of his hair fell into the raging waves thrashing in his thunderous gaze. And though Sela swore he hissed at all of them collectively, she was surprised to find the hatred directed at just one of them in particular.”
          
          Chapter three will be the one we’ve all been waiting for! Out this Saturday. ❤️

Excerpt for Chapter 2 Beyond the Sea: 
          
          “She wrapped her fingers around his, giving it a tender squeeze.
          
          A warmth Sela had never felt before, pushed through her trembling body. A soft gasp left both her and Pokni as the fish man twitched, a quiet moan leaving his parted lips. His fingers moved against hers, holding it tighter as if he did not want to let go of what tethered him to the slim life he had left. His eyebrows pushed together into a painful gathering. 
          
          Sela leaned forward, terrified and intrigued to see if he would open his eyes.”

Hey guys! I’m a couple weeks late, but I finally posted the introduction to my new historical fiction romance story! I haven’t written anything in a couple months before writing this story, so to get back into writing (especially historical fiction) has both been fun and tough!
