Hey ur book is soo good I did a book talk on it  today, but my teacher is being picky and told me to email u and ask " if ur native yourself?" So here I am , but keep up the good work.

I am not fully Native but I do have a large percentage of Native in me. I have Blackfoot, Cherokee, and Shawnee. I am located in Ohio which is home to many Natives including the famous Tecumseh, and semi famous Little Turtle. (There's many more but not all are actually taught in school). I have Native American heritage on both sides of my family, thickly. No one in my family however live the Native life anymore, we're all modern. We still have neat traditions and do celebrate our heritage, so many stories have been passed down generation from generation and will continue to do so.
