With the completion of Twenty-Eighteen and start of WestPoint, I took a look back at some of my prior works over the last year or two, and I wanted to give my honest thoughts looking back at some of these-… Idk, perhaps out of sheer boredom or a longing to improve my writing-
          
          Year Zero Quietus - A personal reimagining of the story told within NiN’s Year Zero album, using old OCs I had made from early High School lol, and they fit in my story surprisingly well, I like how Quietus turned out all things considered, i think I went a little hardcore edgy in a few places, but generally, me making this as a pseudo-callout of my past nihilistic worldview, mirroring some of that behavior of myself- while at the same time, “Killing” that worldview, was very personal to me… I think it’s fine enough— I like it, but… Some of the edginess makes it hard for me to look back on-
          
          (Short Stories) DustTrust Hysteria / Penance Unforgiven / Jeff… / Stars Adrift - 2/4 of these actually got finished, Hysteria and Unforgiven… Other two are… In development hell, especially Jeff…. Expect that one to maybe be taken down, as I have reached a mental block with that one… But Stars Adrift, I could see me coming back to that one and wrapping it up with 3 or 4 chapters more… Just wait for me to get back in that Gravity Falls mood lol- But no I liked making short stories- gave me some leniency and I didn’t feel as if I had to zoom these ones out and could take my time… Expect me to eventually drop some more short story stuff lol, I enjoy it-…
          
          UnderVerse (in general) - I loved making Depths and Collapse, so much fun finally getting to write fanfiction for probably my second favorite fictional -verse, and promise that something will come out eventually, maybe not Cataclysm itself soon- sorta Locked on that front, but I still want to write for UnderVerse and write a proper conclusion… Perhaps a book on “The End” of my AlphaTale Take?.. Who knows-

          I don’t know why I’m doing entries in this thing anymore…
          
          Haven’t written in this thing since I was a little owlet, but… I don’t know, part of me is calling to do something worthwhile in these apartments… Sure working at a coffee shop is nice, and keeps the bills paid… But… I don’t know, I yearn to escape this place… But the more I think about it the more I realize how… I know so much about everyone in these apartments….
          
          Yet… Do any of them truly know me?… Seeing someone’s traits from a distance only gives you a glimpse into them…. You don’t…. Actually know them in any meaningful way… So whats to say… Anyone in this complex even knows me?… Would you even want them to know that much?….
          
          Okay, enough of that… I think I’m gonna stop doing entries like this… You’re better at writing stories and not about yourself heheh, so just cut the crap here and get back to it….

          Ahem, uh… This is take 2… Of that poor attempt I made yesterday….
          
          The Komodo Dragon and Crocodile next door offered to uh… Help me get out of the apartments for a change, but… I don’t know… Why would I go with “them” of all critters on this block? Everyone knows their relationship is boiling over, why would I when I can stay in my room and mind my own business? Come back when you two are in a better mental state….. And maybe uh… Be a little more quieter at nights… Some animals try to sleep here in Westpoint-… No offense, keep that up and I might write a chapter about y’all in my fanfiction teehee… Did you just write teehee in your diary I….. Why am I writing about fanfiction in my diary?! 
          
          Mrm… Nevermind what else - what else… Luth is still living here too… He’s… Uh… That Sheep… It’s funny, I think he’s the only one who after my years of onlooking those around me, he’s the one I have respect for… Helps me with uh, food… I don’t know he drops by fast food sometimes, because he doesn’t eat much… I don’t know, there’s nothing to write about with him! He’s… Normal… Really normal-… He’s sweet all things considered… Just wish I had a read on him like everyone else in this shitty apartment complex…… Hope he finds happiness somewhere all things considered… Even The happiest faces might have some darkness…

          Can’t believe I’m doing this again-
          
          But… I had to talk about that new guy… That new Cat is.. Nice… I guess…. I looked up his last name online… “Devons”… He couldn’t be related to that murder case down in Nebraska could he?… Pffft, don’t be silly… If he was THAT Devons, then the cops would definitely have eyes on WestPoint… Or The Rut as a whole… Plus this is Missouri, Nebraskas like, aways away… But if you are, I’m gonna totally become one of those True Crime YouTubers and interview him-… Either way, He’s a musician or something?… I don’t know-… I’m not the kind of gal to start conversations with people I don’t know- 
          
          OH- and don’t even get me started on that Rat Nextdoor, I’m pretty sure that Rat across my floor is trying to sell me fake Grotto Beasts cards… I don’t even collect Grotto Beasts cards, WHY THE FUCK WOULD I WANT GROTTO BEASTS CARDS?! Go back to scamming old folks, at least you weren’t interrupting my life…… Like I don’t care if your chain is solid gold! No one cares! Especially not me-

Twenty-Eighteen Fun Fact 2: I have a full playlist of songs i make reference to / are directly quoted in the story, Music is a huge part of the storytelling in Twenty-Eighteen, if I were to ever try to commission or have a visual element to the story, I’d want tracks to accompany the artwork or panels Y’know-
          
          Each Character has a genre i associate with them in their own way I’d say as well
          
          Corve - Midwest Emo
          Tyler - Industrial Metal / Grunge
          Ren - Slowcore / Slacker Rock
          Fin - Alternative / Indie Rock (Similar to his brother Larz :3)
          
          And if I were to give the Bedaum a “Theme” I’d say Shoegaze fits him the best, funnily enough, all 5 of these genres are in my “Twenty-Eighteen” Playlist, and I think it all mixes together oddly beautifully

Twenty-Eighteen Fun Fact: I completely forgot about, a movie that was a heavy inspiration for my story was a movie i can highly recommend named “Super Dark Times” if you watch the movie you’ll see a lot of similar themes and plot beats, of course they are different stories, with very different outcomes, but if I had to choose one source of inspiration, I’d want to give a shout-out to Super Dark Times- pretty damn good movie all things considered
          
          (Might make more random fun facts for some of my stories, might be a fun way to make more messages, I had just been going through my Letterboxd earlier and went past Super Dark Times and remembered “oh shit, this is what sparked Twenty-Eighteen for me lmao”… Sort of like the, lightbulb I suppose in my head)

          … Oh right this is an update for my log uh, yeah I’m writing occasionally- Another story kinda like Twenty-Eighteen is getting worked on, cool beans

With the end of Twenty-Eighteen, I’m now working on a similar project to Twenty-Eighteen, consider it a slight spin-off and technical sequel but not really because it’s entirely different lmfao
          
          I’ll give some updates as progress proceeds on it i just wanted to announce that it’s now officially in the works :)

Couldn’t go to bed tonight, but as I laid in bed I felt all the words I needed to finally finish Twenty-Eighteen come to me…. 
          
          I’ve been holding back on writing it so long now, with how rough these past few months have been, I’ve been stopping myself from working on this story because it’s so emotionally draining but, in my life right now I felt the words come to me and just wrote them out for the final Twenty-Eighteen chapter
          
          This story really means a lot to me, and I’m glad I wrote it, even if truly no one will probably read it, I’m glad I wrote it… 
          
          Don’t know what the future holds for my writing here but I can say there will be one, I never leave forever when it comes to writing on Wattpad lol-

Hey All, Happy Late New Years! Just wanted to give a lil update as writing commences, got a lot of writing and stuff done last year, and am hoping to have even more this year! 
          
          Twenty-Eighteen is still getting finished, hell it’s actually gotten quite a bit of the last chapter written, but whether it be lack of motivation or lack of traction or some other third thing, whatever, I’m holding off on it for just a tad, it’ll probably get uploaded before February, early to mid-January, just so y’all know
          
          BUT, new story dropped, a Rain World Fanfic actually, it’ll be a short form one like Penance Unforgiven, only 5 chapters but it’ll be covering the entire Artificer campaign ^^ for Y’know, the year starter
          
          Got a lot of cool stuff planned for this year, both for original stuff and for Fanfics- also, hope y’all dig the Koey PFP- ^^ Happy 2026
