I am canceling my TTTE AU and leaving the TTTE community entirely which is something I should've done months ago during the time when so-called “fans” aka vile ungrateful ghouls flamed Chris Awdry for updating the RWS canon lore (“YoU rUiNeD mY aU bOo HoO”) and hearing about his event in June concerns me because of this. If you do shit like that, you don't deserve to see any of my TTTE fanart that I've recently purged just like when I purged my Poppy Playtime fanart. I may sound hypocritical, but going after creators of shows, books or games is one thing, but going after good elderly creators is where I draw the line. I know how many ppl will be sad to see my art go but my decision is final. There will no longer be any TTTE artwork from me.
The AU community is garbage and I had an awful experience there and Twitter was right about it (like the time when they threw shit on Firebox, a Saw Parody of TTTE). I feel like reading a brick wall every time I see the same plot over and over again which is why I avoided these stories. My interest in the community as a whole had completely faded away. At least mine was very different, didn't contain BTWF slop (at least I don't play Roblox that's in the Epstein files), and had inspiration from horror films I watched. Now I know what you're asking. “Can I own the rights to your fanfic or rewrite your AU?” The answer is no. I want them in the past and remain in the past. So I would like to ask @IsleofPigsStudios to remove the FStBC page from the Sodor AU wiki.

@Xylem3Keys Sorry you had all that happen to you, the TTTE fandom has really fallen off, especally in 2026 with the people, who keep causing problems, and the content, as some au's are dumb and illogical, and even some Thomas content. But yeah I can understand why you feel this way, stuff has fallen off.

@Xylem3Keys Yeah, I saw one au where of all characters they had to find of copy and paste LFD Edward, it's Flying Scotsam who is just there for no reason. And the newer updates are also questinable. Byrone got added and it makes me had HOW INSTEAD OF MAKING HIS SAD FACE, A FACE KINDA KNOWN TO THE CHARACTER, HE ADDS HIS SHOCKED FACE WHICH I DON'T REMEMBER EVER BEING ON SCREEN. It's other stuff nobody asked for like Daniel The Brake Tender, or doing little stuff instead of important stuff for the game. I'm hoping the next big upgrade of Thomas and Duck's branchlines is good.
@SuePodgorski I absolutely 100% agree with Truck of Fuel. I don't care what's the name before nothing changes the fact that's it's named after the author himself and it still is to this day (Fun fact: Rev Awdry was president of the Dean Forest railway at that time). It's not about restricting random fictional characters. The biggest problem is that they insert irl preserved engines (especially those honors legacies like Alan Pegler) with shock value. Let Skipz cook. I highly doubt that he's an employee for Roblox but I'll be real, I do not feel any empathy towards anyone who pays for his shit for more content because stupid people believe that "he has changed" and pull out "it's in the past" bullshit. Anyone who says that and still pays for his scam content deserves to be scammed.

Oh yeah. The only good thing on there are some of the games, but it's the good ones like BTWF that get taken down. Now Roblox wants people to pay just to make a game. I have a theory that Skipz is working for Roblox and made that rule just so he could get more money because he's running out of stuff to charge people with.
I remember reading Sodor Leakage for the first time and as I was reading it, I was like "yep this is a Sodor Fallout rip-off" and ykw, I'm glad that shit is gone lol
@Xylem3Keys Honestly if I for some reason made an AU, I would probably include one side-chapter for another character, but I would actually make it nessecary with something known as big brain. It would prob be near the end and solve plot holes in the story, kinda simillar to (Spoilers if you haven't wached BFDI but want to) how BFDIA 13 fixed plotholes between BFDIA and IDFB (Like the LOLers getting Asset changes and Firey recovering Leafy)
@Xylem3Keys another advice: Do not insert Wilbert Awdry, George Carlin, Ringo Starr, etc. Keep them out of it. Make fictional characters that are not based on ANY real person (dead or alive. Yes I put that disclaimer in my story just in case)
@IDiedThinkingOfAName hmm, that's some good ideas, so I decided to share my advices when writing a horror AU 1. Make it all about storytelling which makes your story good. 2. Find some inspiration than just AUs. Go watch some horror/thriller movies (like what I did find inspiration to write mine on AO3). Find some interesting scenes or anything that you would reference from said movies or railway accidents (anything but the boiler explosion) 3. Imho, adding stories of unimportant engines explaining what happened to them one character after another feels unnecessary and not needed. (Ex: We found someone safe and sound and we ask them what happened they explained what happened. Also how can the main human character know write everything he knows about their backstory? It feels unrealistic imo). I would suggest to use that on important characters you're focusing on. 4. If you wanted to do a War story, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Don't just do "Germans attack in 1960s-90s" or some shit. Instead of rereading brainrot like TSCW, I finally got around to reading your au I really love it, it's really good, I've ony read the first chapter I'll read chapter 2 later, but I enjoyed chapter 1, keep it up.
If there's 1 thing I have to comment I don't like, I think the "2 years later" could be a bit more spaced out and in a place where it kind of stands out more. But beside that I'm enjoying.
Although I also got a question, why isn't Fergus in the au, or is it because of his basis and how low powered it is.

And then at the end more characters are turned into monsters(the ony ones I remember are Gordon and Henry) Again, HOW, it is not possable to be turned into monsters from volcanoes. And I'm pretty sure Gordon and a few other monsters were derailed when they died. SO HOW DID THEY GET UPRIGHT. And then the battle just turns into a copy and paste SLFD battle.

@Xylem3Keys This. Bonus points if the antagonist is Nazi Germany in a year after WWII. Like, come on people do some research. I hate to toot my own horn, but the reason Crystalized's plot kicks off with smuggling is 1. That's how the inspiration/basis of the AU: Ninjago Crystalized started and 2. Smuggling goods is a real world problem that still goes on today and yes, has affected real railways. There's a logical reason for WHY engines are being sent elsewhere, because of smuggling. Then you take a look at shit like Bombing of Sodor and it's just... Nazi's in the 1980s for some reason. Like, HUH? I get that if it's a story that took place in the 1940's, then you'd only have 6 standard gauge engine characters to work with on Sodor. But come on, having NAZI GERMANY be the antagonists of a story that takes place DECADES after WWII is just bullshit.
I will not make a playlist video. Even if I do, don't expect FNAF, cinematic, metal rock music or any copyrighted music shoved into my AU.
Okay I'm gonna say this, I have listened to metal for over a decade. I've listened to FNAF music less often but still quite enjoyed them. But for my AU, the metal rock, or electronic remix genre will not be associated with From Sea to Beyond Confine. It has a dark haunting atmospheric tone with the depressing mood. It will all be on Newgrounds with no copyrighted music (if I make an animation). And yes Newgrounds there prohibits copyright music or reposted music.
In my opinion, I find playlist videos to be very boring and unoriginal. Like there is a playlist feature you can make it and add songs you look up on YouTube and put it on your channel which is faster than just a video with still images of a background and an engine. I also don't belive that FNAF and metal fits into the Thomas universe (horror or not).

Admittedly I didn't liked them in the first place back in the early 2020s. I was sticking with Sodor Fallout this entire time (while avoiding content farm Elsagate 2.0 slop like role swaps and dog shit slide shows and edits. Because I shit you not when watching these ripoffs such as Sodor Mist, Sodor Decay and reading the old Sodor Leakage. I lost every single fucking braincell I had when I always hear the runaway theme playing in the background at the beginning of the disaster EVERY FUCKING TIME. It's so FUCKING UNORIGINAL and I was thinking so hard in my head that I just wanted to say it out loud (but didn't because of course I would be berated by fucking kids telling me to kms and couldn't up with a better argument). Get a reevaluation. TheRingGuy's deleted all of his stories (except LDF) because they all suck dick.
Also about shoving war story into TTTE: It's going to suck dick if you couldn't do any research or make actual storytelling (yeah yk bombing of sodor, Molly and the Germans attack or any other war aus are objectively garbage). If you're going to keep it that way with the copy and paste SF formula, expect being the ripped the fuck into.
Oh if you can't handle constructive criticism then boo fucking hoo sucks to suck. Maybe don't make an account or an au. It's mind boggling how these unoriginal slop content get thousands of views on YouTube than AU stories with really good writing and storytelling.

I've been watching Zombie films on Netflix (Train to Busan is the goat) and another called Seoul Station only Tubi, I needed to watch more to get inspired to write this fanfic.
@SayThatAgainIDareYou Reasons - This is a vent project where I cope with my IRL personal issues. - I don't want to end up like the old AUs such as Mist, Decay, Fallout, Eclipse, LFD, and more. - I don't want it to be popular in the TTTE community in general, especially where hardcore Sodor Fallout ripoff fanboys would come to me demanding a chapter or a sequel (which is why I'm not posting the story here). My AU would be completely vandalized as they would do anything to "fix," "rewrite," and completely vandalized my story and overstepping my boundaries.

@Xylem3Keys I didn't even know about know about Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok doing it mainly because I barely pay attention to them outside of Tiktok nearly being banned a few times. I'm sure Deviantart would also have that problem based on awful or weird artwork I've seen come out of there, but that's just a thought.
