Hi, Unknown, and thanks for adding Lucilla and Songs for Tamar to your reading list.

Lucilla draws on my knowledge of the Roman period and World War Two in Italy.

My story of Tamar makes use of my familiarization with the Bible and travel to Israel.

I wanted to provide in fiction the life Tamar should have had.

Enjoy my stories and thanks again.

Thanks again for adding Risking All for Love to your reading list.

The story begins at Holy Cross Mission where I served as a Peace Corps teacher in the remote village of Bolahun, Liberia.

So my experience in Africa is woven into the narrative, and some of my characters are inspired by real people living there.

I set this love story during Liberia's approaching horrific civil war, which claimed a quarter million lives.

I hope you enjoy the story taking place in the village I fell in live with.

@Unknown_Depth Hi and thank you for adding Songs for Tamar to your reading list.

Tamar, beautiful daughter of King David, who ruled Israel three thousand years ago, was taken by force by her half-brother Amnon.

The Bible stops, merely saying that she was devastated.

This story provides Tamar with a life that she ought to have had. If not the way I portray it, I hope it was even better.

This story captures the culture of the Israelite people who lived in those times, including the beliefs they lived by.

For this I have created another character, the young man by the name of Jesse Ben Ezra.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Songs for Tamar.

@LittleBlueBeat16 Thank you for adding Twice Loved at Armageddon to your reading list.

For some people my story, set in Roman Palestine and Ancient Israel, the story is hard to follow at first.

But they love it once they get started.

Here again, I was fortunate to have visited modern Israel.

Enjoy the story when you begin reading.
