There are days when your heart feels heavy, and your soul feels distant from everything, even from your own self. You pray, but it feels empty. You make dhikr, but your mind wanders. You try to reconnect with the Qur’an, but the words don’t hit the same. In those moments, don’t walk away. Stay. Stay even when you don’t feel it. Because faith isn’t always a fire, sometimes it’s just a flicker that you have to protect. Allah doesn’t expect perfection from you, only effort. And even when the effort feels small, He sees it. He counts it. He honours it. So keep going, even when it’s quiet. Keep praying, even when it feels dry. Keep remembering Him, even when your heart feels numb. This is part of the journey too. And it’s still beautiful in the eyes of the One who never stops watching over you.
