We're all a bit wild, and that's okay! We all have our moments, our quirks, our interests and everything else that compacts together to form us. And among all of that, you need to know one simple thing.
Never hide it.
Do not be ashamed to love a children's show, or to enjoy medieval history. Find the courage to be able to even just SHOW the world: "This is me. And I am a bit crazy, and I love this particular style of things or writings or music or anything, and I am me. And I will be myself." Because you as yourself are amazing and unique and great and YOU.
You don't need to protest or shout it, but you can start simply by knowing that once you find and become yourself you can truly change the world. I know, it doesn't sound like it! But you having the courage is enough, because then maybe a kid will see you and suddenly not be so afraid to love that same band you do, or to dress with frill or fluff, or to be who they are.
Sometimes all it takes is a brave soul and a courageous presence to change the world. Even just a little, bit by bit.
But it is possible.
