Quote of the Week!
"No one will understand you. It is not, ultimately, that important.
What is important is that you understand you."
—Matt Haig, The Humans
In the sense, we are not mind readers. I will only ever know what you show me about yourself. Understanding itself is something that can only come when you've spent so much time around it or them, and it cannot be forced.
One day, throughout your days, you will find people that learn to understand you as best they can. But that's not something you really have that much control over, because all you can do is let people in so they can have a try.
But first, please, please, understand yourself first. If you don't, people will tell you what you are and be wrong, and you might believe them. But only you can know who you are first.
Understanding yourself leads to much happier days, I think, because you learn how to make them happier to YOU.
Focus on understanding yourself first, okay.
Understand?
All of my understanding,
Yours truly,
~YayaZa_B33_
@Volpixal any progress is amazing progress! I think things outside of the boxes look better, personally
@YayaZa_B33_ thank you bcs I connect to this SOOOO much! I spent a lot of time trying to fit into the box I thought I had to set both by my parents and by society, and I have found I fit in neither the way I’m expected to. I’m still trying to figure myself out, but I know far more about who I am now than I did 4 years ago, and that is progress I cannot overlook

Quote of theee week!!
"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
-C.S. Lewis
Now, this goes for youngin's too. You're never too old or too young to try.
Do you want to reach for the stars? Reach as high as you can. Talk to your parents, get the courage, try for afterschool activities. Get out after work for another class, have fun you couldn't as a kid, apply for dream positions.
I know it's not easy. And it never will be, honestly.
But if you don't have the energy to take steps toward a childhood dream or a future career, close your eyes. Take a break and a deep breath. In, out. And imagine what you want, dream a new future, picture yourself.
Just remember you're never too old to have those familiar childhood dreams and whims. And you are never too young to aspire for a future you'd like or to face a challenge.
Be yourself.
All of my dreams,
Yours truly,
~YayaZa_B33_
@YayaZa_B33_ I have something that supports that quote!! Cough cough, "The ocean has been here since the makings of earth - somewhat - and it still drowns our asses with vigor!"
Quote of the Week!
"So, if you are too tired to speak, sit next to me because I, too, am fluent in silence."
- R. Arnold
Just to say I'm always here. I know it's probably not the best, through a screen and all. But I. Am. Here.
You can vent, if you need. Or you can just say hi. And I'll respond as quickly as I can. I can't promise I can solve problems or anything. But I can be there.
Find someone who can do that. Not just me, someone who ca hold your hand if you need, or who can look into your eyes and tell you You matter.
But I'll say it now, too.
You matter!
All of myself,
Yours truly,
~YayaZa_B33_
Quote of the Week lovelies!
"You must learn to see people as they are, not as you wish them to be."
—The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene
Now, this one is more so for your character, than You.
I think we are all born with glasses. And people in our life and experiences add thicker prescriptions to them, put tints and polarities. Until our eyes hurt, and the world becomes warped.
But. You cannot change what lies behind those lenses. Even if you see a bush, behind them is a tree. People are the same, you might victimise people, or blame them, or evil-ise them. But take off those glasses for a second, okay? Get to know people before you construct a full person that they're not. I know it's a human response to make assumptions, but it should be natural to find a way to confirm or disprove them too.
Maybe you're right, and they are that person. But maybe you're so far off you'll be a bit guilty for assuming. I certainly don't know! Think of the classic, Don't judge a book by its cover.
At least try your best.
All of my bare eyes,
Yours truly,
YayaZa_B33_

Quote of the Week!!
"Sometimes you make choices in life, and
sometimes choices make you."
—Gayle Forman, If I Stay
Either way, choices are a guarantee. You have to choose whether to go out, to move left or right. Sometimes these choices are small, like deciding where to sit at home, and sometimes choices are great.
Like deciding whether or not you will let someone go.
Either way, you must make a choice. My advice is to not let the difficult choices overwhelm you, control you, bind you even years into the future. But be true to yourself when making them. Their impact is only controlled by you. Consequences are not, of course, but impact is.
You may choose to pursue a degree in say, science, and then you will choose whether the after will guide you further into a lab, or to become the greatest there has been, or to change your path even.
Either way, that choice has now been made a part of you. You will always be the person who pursued science. You will always be the one who collected records and treated them like precious stones. You will always be the person who looked at your interests for hours.
You will always be the person who made mistakes. You will always be the person who preferred actions over words.
Choices make people, and people make choices and they face their consequences and ride on the impact into what choice is next. This is life. It's a bit scary, but that's okay, because everyone makes choices. And you can always ask for help.
I will always be the person who ignored people. And I will always be the person who turned to listen when someone started to speak.
I will always be who I am, what has made me Me. You will too. Even if the thought is haunting, even if some choices are hurting.
I happen to think you're pretty cool. So keep it up, and if you struggle, just lift a hand for help.
All of my choice, Yours truly,
~YayaZa_B33_
