As for the authors like me, JUST BE YOURSELF. It doesn't really matter whether you're straight or gay as long as YOU CAN SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE. If someone tells you to change your protagonist's gender other than your original idea, kindly say to them, "FUCK OFF, BITCH". They're not fans nor readers who appreciate other people's work but rather, SELF-ENTITLED PEOPLE who think that the whole world revolves around them.

It is disappointing to see how some authors here adjust their published works to cater to some audiences. Some of them published their works as 'x Male Reader' and yet, eventually changed it to either gay or gender-neutral genre just to persuade audiences to read them.
          
          Personally, I don't hate either gays or any member of the LGBT except the ones who bullied me before, which are only a few. However, I hate to see some of them forcing writers like me TO ADJUST MY WRITINGS ACCORDING TO THEIR TASTE. Moreover, some of them have the gall to say, 'Oh, it's not gay so bye,' or something like that. Seriously?!
          
          FYI, if you gay stans want to read gay stories, there are lots of stories here so there's no need to force the authors to change their work. That's disrespectful, you know. Additionally, not everyone here is a member of the LGBT community so, if you want to be respected, make sure to show respect to heterosexuals as well.
