@ThandazileDiego I don't know why I didn't tell you this earlier, Diego, but I actually, somehow, liked the ending of Flightless Bird. As I was reading it towards the end, I kept hoping War would wake up but with complete and irreversible amnesia but retaining his memories of his family. When it actually did, I was not exactly happy but at peace because it was what should happen. If you wrote it like War woke up, forgave Yin and ended up together, that would've been disingenuous to the entire journey of their characters. Ultimately I just wanted to say I think you're a good writer. I hope you love this story that you created because you did well with it. I'm proud of you!
