And if it wasn’t for IMDB already having Mark Hamil up for episode 9 I would almost want to say he passes on, he could come back as a force ghost. But rn, I feel like he’s way to scared to train Rey in any way. Hence the whole reverting to easiest path taken thing.

Ok, I literally have so many theory’s about the new Star Wars Trailer. 
          
          My number one, a lot of people won’t agree with but I feel like this would be a amazing way to write around Carrie Fishers passing.
          
          Imagine Snoke and or another First Order person killing her without telling Kylo, and him having Ordered to keep her safe. We see in the Trailer he can’t shoot the section of the ship she’s in. Imagine the break he’d face, how he sees what he did. 
          
          Then, maybe. Just maybe. Having a bit of Rey going to the dark side after being turned down by Luke Skywalker himself. Then of course our good pals Finn, Poe, and Ben will have to try to bring her back. Not in a damsel in distress kind of way but in a way to where we can see how these boys need her. Like she’s already become a pillar for the Resistance and for the Future Republic.
