          I'll read ur book fs

So I just updated part 40 of my book. Holy fu- I know. I have no idea how it managed to reach that far. Funny thing is and !spoiler alert! my male protagonist is yet to figure out that the person he's fallen in love with, someone who he thought was a male all along, is actually a female, a woman, yesss. And it's part 40! Don't even ask me how I managed to dupe him for so long. I know. He's got bird poop for a brain and he's slow to figure things out but its all justified, trust me. I know some readers might wana throw knives at his stupidity after reading half of what's already published now but *insert random hand signs here* that's the beauty of it!(sarcastically saying) 
          
          I wana thank my valuable readers for being so patient and putting up with his shit. And I promise, things are only going to get better from here on out

I did the liberty of posting my book "just press ctrl Z" on another platform (Inkitt) and just received my first review after 4 days. And I can't be anymore happier. The best part is I didn't have to ask anyone to read my books, exchange votes or reads to get my book noticed like I do on wattpad. Wow, I'm just contented. It's the best feeling ever! 

The thing is I love to write but the problem is when I don't have readers to read them. Sad but true. With all the rising standards and competitiveness, what is it that we must do to get our work acknowledged? I can't be spending two years writing a book just for it to be tossed inside a dark storeroom of a huge library that would never be opened because they didn't have a place to display it on the shelves. And lately, it feels like my books are indeed inside that dark storeroom of Wattpad's enormous library, never to see the light of day for who knows how long

 So i didn't get shortlisted for the wattys but i ain't giving up. I believe my book has its own audience and it hasn't found the right ones yet. Hence, dropping chapter 16. Congrats on "Just Press Ctrl Z" reaching #1 in #goodbooks ! I loved reading it! The nuanced interactions between the unique characters stand out to me :)
