Love.

Why do we hold on to it?
We don't.
We hold on to the idea of it.
The butterflies, 
The unconditional beauty,
The all-mighty hope that "Everything will be okay." 

Hope.

We hope the idea comes to us.
We hope is worth as much as we think.
We hope that all those stories are true.
We hope for possibilities, for salvation.

Salvation.

Secretly, our greatest desire.
Our biggest love.
The most important reason to hope.
We all want to believe there's something better for us.
We want to believe that someone out there can love us despite what we've done or who we are.
Whether we're bullies or bullied.
Pretty or ugly.
Fat or skinny.
Black or white.
Man or woman. 
Whether we've hurt or been hurt.
We hope for someone to love, and someone to love us.
Because if somebody can love you, faults and all,
Then you can't really be that bad, can you?
Because being loved, means you can be saved. 
And loving, means you can save others.

Love. Hope. Salvation. 
That's us.

And she will be loved.
