Thank you for the follow. As far as continuing your story, if you enjoy writing it, you should continue. In my guide book I state that first books are generally going to be not very good. It takes time and practice to gain the skills. But every book written serves a purpose.
I do, however, point out that I cannot read any books currently. In general, I avoid reading ongoing stories because too many authors quit the story because it didn't get enough attention or they didn't have the time. I think I only had three or four readers while I was writing my book.
I can tell you that if you feel unsure about your writing, it is evident on the page.
