Life is profoundly unjust, in a strange and terrifying way.
          The kind-hearted person does not always find someone to return their kindness,
          the honest is betrayed,
          the faithful is abandoned,
          and the upright is accused of treachery.
          
          The unjust are understood,
          the sensitive person is misunderstood,
          and when they dare one day to protest and claim their rights,
          they become, in everyone’s eyes, ungrateful.
          
          I do not know why…
          but it seems that the more one clings to their principles,
          the crueler the world becomes.
