This is my personal opinion, not targeted at anyone for attention. I have every right to express what I feel, and this is about the current state of the Wattpad community.
          
          Honestly, it’s disheartening to see how things have changed here. People are constantly victimizing themselves for clout, creating drama, and portraying themselves as the ones always being wronged. It feels less like a writing community and more like a battlefield for attention.
          
          Some authors act like they’re celebrities, expecting admiration and treating followers like fans instead of fellow writers and readers. It’s sad how Wattpad has turned into a popularity contest instead of a space for creativity and storytelling.
          
          When I first joined, the environment was way better—people supported each other without jealousy, shared chapters freely, and uplifted newcomers. Now, it’s about numbers, rankings, and who can trend the fastest. The warmth is gone, replaced by ego, entitlement, and gatekeeping.
          
          This platform should be about writing, growing, and connecting—not ego trips or online politics. Let’s bring back the simplicity and support that once made Wattpad feel like home.

I know I’ve been MIA for a while, and I just wanted to say I’m really sorry for disappearing and not responding to messages. Life got overwhelming, and I had to take a step back due to some health issues and my mental well-being.
          
          It was never my intention to ignore anyone, and I truly appreciate those who checked in or wondered where I went. I’m slowly getting back, and I just wanted to let you all know that I missed being here. Thanks for understanding, and I hope to reconnect soon!
