I'm not sure if anyone that follows me/I follow is still active or remembers me, but um, helloes! It's been a LONG time. XD
Sooo... I was thinking about this place a while back, all the cool stories, the people... And I had a nostalgia overload upon reinstalling the app. I'm starting to miss the whole reading and writing stories, and the community overall was really chill. I don't even know how to explain my absence. I wasn't totally burning out of writing or disliked anything here... I just kind of forgot... Life is really weird like that.
Life just happened to get in the way. My interests changed, I found new sites and whatnot. For example, I've been getting into Ace Attorney and Danganronpa this past year, and now I spend most of my time making custom tracks for Mario Kart Wii. Now it's 2021, I'm 18, and soon to head to college. Time really flies! However, I still love Mario and Nintendo as much as ever. That's never gonna change. :P
Sooo, does this mean I'm coming back to this site? I don't wanna make promises, so for now I just want to say that at the very least I got the app installed. Gonna read some stories, see if there's anyone still active, and all that. I still have a soft spot for writing, so maybe I'll continue my stories. Still, no promises, as life is busy.
Again, I don't know if any people I used to talk to or follow, or any of my followers are still active, so in the end idk if this message is reaching anyone. But yeah! Just wanted to say that YoshiReadsStories is in fact still reading stories. And sorry for just disappearing like that.

Hello everyone! How's it been? Serious talk, and ignoring the random posts claiming that I was writing I made a while ago. I want to drop a little update on what's actually been happening in my life and why I haven't been here.
I honestly can't blame school anymore. It's not easy, but it's not yet to the point where it eats all my time. The reason I've been distracted from here is my other hobbies, and other sites. I've been drawing (somewhat), modding, and moderating.
I am most active on Amino and Discord, since I am part of the staff of Mario Kart Amino, which means most of my attention has to go there. In Discord I just chill around. However, I plan to make this another place I visit frequently, but I'm not sure how far I can get with that. While I won't be here 24/7 for sure, I'll be making some appearances and saying hi! Plus I'm always free to be messaged privately should you want to chat with me. Maybe eventually I will be here much more often!
As a side note, I also have a Switch now! Which means I've been playing more games, which may also result in extra story inspiration... ;)
My code will be in my About area, as well as my Discord and how to search for me in Mario Kart Amino, so check that out for all of that!

@YoshiReadsStories - hey, I feel you man. we all get distracted from the things we have to do- the situation you describes happens to me quite often as well! i'd just like you to know that whatever happens next is up to you, and i'm sure alongside me there are other people who are willing to understand that you have your own life as well. so go on and write whenever you feel to! :)

I just noticed I've reached 100 followers! That is impressive honestly! Thank you all so much for sticking by and enjoying your time here! :D
I have some more ideas on the writing board that I might start making way for, I feel you all will like them! Wattpad has made me feel happy and creative since I joined in 2015, and I don't think I need to stop writing and hanging around here just yet. Again, thank you all! I feel like I've been inactive for way too long and it is time to return.
