I'm so tired of seeing comments like "nobody cares" or "who asked?". It really doesn't matter whether or not you asked or somebody else asked. The comments are for people to speak their minds: to talk about something that, most of the time, isn't directed to a certain someone but is for everyone to read and understand. The fact that you think that you can go up to someone who believes that this is a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings and just tell them nobody cares is outrageous. Someone does care. And it's even worse if they are venting their feelings of depression or the want to end their life.

You older people may call me a snowflake or say I'm a part of the snowflake generation: But yeah, some people get hurt by words. Some people are affected by what other people say. I personally have social anxiety and am always worrying about what other people think about me. I don't necessarily have an explanation justifying this feeling, it's just the way I feel. You can call me sensitive. I probably am. Sorry guys, just feelin' a lil emotional tonight.

A lot of these comments actually make these people feel worse: They already feel that nobody cares about them, and some of them feel that it's better they shouldn't even be alive. Yet here you are, ridiculing them for speaking their minds. I'm utterly disgusted by these people who feel like they own the comment section or something.
