@YouWithTheDarkCurls yes!!! like i'm pakehā as well (pretty sure i'm just white, idk) and i think a lot of te ao and te reo are really interesting, and yk good to know and learn, and it pmo how so many people are all "no, i won't pronounce that properly, i'm white. i don't need to." because it's still an official language of our country, and still something that should be respected? people could at least try to pronounce some things right, because it really is not hard to pronounce "wh" or change the a's, e's and o's when those are all sounds we already use.
i like being able to do haka and waiata, pronounce things right, use a lot of te reo māori, and learn a lot of te ao māori, because it's honestly really cool
