It's been a long time.
I've missed you all greatly, I apologize for any inconvenience caused if I was unable to be here, though I highly doubt anyone would care or would have anything happen by me not being here.
If you don't remember me, and are wondering why I'm on your notifications on your dashboard, my name is Mel, and I'm mostly known for lots and lots of roleplay.
It's been a long time since I have been active on this app. I remember when I was on it every day and when I was so much more involved with all of you. Unfortunately that's changed, and it will likely change more today.
I can no longer support Wattpad. The toxicity it has brought and the pain it's given me is too much. So many painful memories are here woven into al of the happy ones I once had. But, over the years those once happy memories turn sour and tear me apart from the inside.
Its system is terrible. Wattpad is constantly going through its guidelines and then seeking out more and more violations every single day. At this rate I will have to unpublish all of my books just to keep my account going safely, but even then I doubt it would be in the clear because of all of the infractions I have received on old story parts.
I don't think I'll be coming back on this app. I think today is the day I finally go officially inactive, and abandon my account for good and never come back.
Wattpad you have so many issues, you are too focused on reporting people for images that are harmless and once okay here, instead of dealing with people being reported for harassment and hate and bullying.
Those of you who took the time to read this I greatly thank you. It means a lot to me.
