Great Job with the latest chapter of One Piece, very excited how this fight will go down and what unexpected thing happens in it. I normally don't ask questions about how a writer works but I. enjoy your storytelling and want to know how your process in wiring is, since I do plan on writing a OP story in the future and thought a nice AMA would be good to do.
-When you adapt an arc do you typically rewatch the anime or reread the manga to remember what the characters say or what's happening?
-what is your favorite arc in all of one piece and why that arc?
-What has been your favorite arc to adapt in writing form?
-Whats the one thing you shouldn't do when writing a OP or any anime story with an OC as the lead?
-how long is the process of writing a chapter that doesn't include taking time to focus on work or personal stuff that doesn't have to do with writing.
-besides (y/n) and robin which other character do you have the most fun in writing and which do you want to have more dialogue with (y/n)
-Do you have any plans to do any original arcs for the story so that you don't catch up too quickly with the mangas current chapter or would you be doing some adaptions of the films like Z, Red, Gold and Stampede?
- I have no doubt you have big plans for these next arcs but Between the next two arcs that being Egghead and Elbaph which one are you most excited to work on the most and why is that?
-Are gonna be seeing Cyrene again the future, Im curious as to see what she's been up too since sabaody whether it would be in small or big way.

Thank you as always for the kind words! To answer your questions:
- When I adapt an arc, I have the manga pages in front of me as I write. I typically only use the manga but for a few moments I’ve used the anime.
- My favorite arc is Whole Cake Island because I love Big Mom and how it’s different from the usual arc formula with the goal of the Straw Hats being to escape instead of fighting. But I will say the Elbaph arc may become my favorite once it ends.
- My favorite arc(s) to adapt for the fanfiction were definitely Water 7/Enies Lobby because that’s where a lot of things came together not only from a storytelling standpoint but also from a writing one. (Y/N) and Robin get together, my personal favorite OC of mine Tsutsumi gets introduced, as well as the Nephilim.
- I will say one thing someone shouldn’t do when writing with an OC is to strictly adhere to the ideas you have planned out because it can always change, even when you are already using a “completed” story. This has happened to me more than once especially in my One Piece fanfiction. You should always be willing to make changes or even cut things.
- Usually, if I sit down and write in one sitting it takes at least an hour to write one chapter, but most often it’s spread across a few days.
- I really enjoy writing Zoro which is why he probably has the most amount of interactions with (Y/N) other than Robin and Luffy. I also love writing Tsutsumi because as I stated earlier she’s my favorite OC of mine. As for who I want to have more dialogue with (Y/N), it’s definitely Franky, because they’ve interacted with each other the least.

It’s just in a weird situation right now because I do not like how I had written it back then, and while I have ideas and a plan on how it will continue, the earlier parts of the book are just writing that I’m not proud of. If I were to continue the book, I might just as well rewrite it from the beginning which is a big task for me.
Also, the reason the Heroes of Olympus and Ninjago books are being released faster is because a majority of the chapters are already prewritten, and the One Piece book is my most popular one currently so I’m also trying to work on it when I can though admittedly updates are slower than I want them to be but I’m busy in life currently so there’s not much I can do

Pretty close to how I imagine the powerscaling actually! (Though I’m not really a powerscaler myself since I don’t really care for that sort of thing much in general.) I’m a huge Big Mom defender so I rank her much higher than lots of other people should. Here’s how I see it currently in story (Luffy doesn’t have Gear 5 yet).
Kaido >= Big Mom >> Luffy > Law > Kid > King > Queen >= Bezique > Zoro >= Sanji >= (Y/N) > Jimbei
This may seem controversial, but I don’t think Zoro and Sanji are stronger than King and Queen until they unlock their respective power-ups. Also I think people underestimate Queen because he’s a goofy moron but realistically, based on his bounty, he is really strong. As for Sanji being stronger than (Y/N), that’s how I see it as he’s one of Luffy’s Wings so narratively, that’s makes sense. Of course, I could see Sanji only becoming stronger than (Y/N) after he gets Ifrit Jambe

@YourMother72 Now that I caught up in the anime and nearly finished Wano im impressed that you decided to have (your/n) be apart of the breaking udon out of udon instead of having him be apart of the events happening in the capital. because it was a more appropriate part for (y/n) to be in as you don't want to put a original character in the middle of things too much to take spotlight away from important moments I respect that. I'm very excited on how you'll be doing the remainder of the battle of Onigasha, as well as who (y/n) will end up facing against. Apart of me is wishing you have (y/n) join kanji in being captured by Black Maria or have him join robin in going full devil on her. Im hoping you have that idea considered since it would show even more how similar these love birds are. now question time since im curious about some things outside of the events the straw hats are in. - does every pirate and marine know about (y/n) and robins relationship or only a few people know? - Are there any devil hunters going after other devil users and will they eventually go after (y/n) -does the public know about the resurgence of the nephilim and how far does their influence has spread and they arrive in Wano? Can't wait to read the next chapter of your one piece story. at the very least I caught up to the end of wano but sucks now that I have to wait until the next chapter of this story. now I know how everyone felt when they waited for the next episode.

- I imagine not every pirate and marine knows about (Y/N) and Robin’s relationship. To the world, they’re simply “underlings” to Luffy, who’s pretty much the main focus and (Y/N)’s pretty much only recognized as the devil host on Straw Hat’s crew
- There’s not really any devil hunters, mostly because devil hosts are extremely rare, powerful, and frightening so it’s just hard to make a career off of hunting them. Of course, the marines will capture them when they can, but it usually requires either a really powerful vice admiral (like Garp or Tsuru) or an actual admiral to achieve that
- Information on the occult and devils is extremely limited to the general public because the World Government classifies that information, so it’s mostly just known as myths or tall tales. The Nephilim itself is not known either except among the top brass of the marines and World Government and even then, they are extremely hard to find because Zurra purposefully hides the organization and they don’t enter the limelight too much

@YourMother72 alright as of rn I’m at chapter 106 in your One Piece Story. It’s one of a few that I enjoy reading. It’s great that (y/n) blends so well into the story that it doesn’t seem like he’s forced in only because the writer just wants him to be like most OC/SI fanfics , he doesn’t take away from other characters moments and face off with original and minor villains. But I think the best thing about this story is the relationship between ( Y/N) and Robin. I think what I lik about it is how similar their childhood has been. Both lost their mothers at a young age, endured a lot of pain and hate throughout their childhood until their adult age. As well as the way they both act Every time they’re together. To me it’s a more genuine and believable relationship and feels like they’re meant to be together. I really hope in the next arcs I’ll read or near the end of the story you do consider having (Y/N) propose to Robin, showing that someone like (y/n) deserves to be happy and to marry the woman he loves despite his struggle with Azazel. Anyway hope you see this and let me know what you think on my idea. Continue the great work and cannot wait for the next chapter.

aww thank you I appreciate it! I did purposefully make the reader and robin’s pasts similar to make their romance not only more natural but also thematically parallel. as for your idea, we’ll just have to wait and see ;)

Awesome chapter of one piece. Also question what kind of devil fruit Awakening are you going to do for him. From the entire series we don't even know what a logia devil fruit Awakening is like and I think the the reason is because they might be broken, I mean kuzan who can literally Freeze an entire Island and two fights of two logia user change the climate and the environment of an island, creating Punk hazard. His is relative to the storm, are you going to make him broken?

@YourMother72 on a side note I like how as the series goes you essentially made (Y/N) the sorta father of the group which is funny considering I look at Robin as the mother figure of the strawhats. I could just imagine her and (y/n) sitting down drinking teas and smiling at the rambunctious crew committing chaos on the ship. Was that the intention you were going for, or did it just evolved to that particular character trait for him. Also hope you give an answer for my previous post/question I made earlier. Don’t know how long it takes you to respond to messages here or if you forget that these are a thing, but I’ll be more than patient to hear your answer.
