For the last couple chapters of arc 1 of Stay Forever, should I have one really long chapter (about 3000 words) or split it into two and have one average chapter (just over 1000) and a chunky one (like 1800)
idk I might split it so it fits with the rest of the book but I honestly prefer the thicker chapters

Ya I think ill probably end up splitting it because there's a break halfway through anyway but I'll see what the next chapter looks like too and if it ends up being long

@YourPersonalCareBear idk, ive been doing that with mine, majority are about 1,000 but only a few are 2,000+ if not close to. currently, the chapter in my draft is at 2,000 and i'm at least expecting 3,-3,500 words. but again, i like doing that, especially if it does work with the flow of the story to keep going in one chapter instead of splitting it. in the end it's your choice and whatever you prefer. i like longer chapters but that's just personal preference
