Why do all the stories I read end up killing one of the main characters?! Why?! I read fanfiction cause it distracts me from the real world.

So I edit part 5 (Shinobu’s introduction) to clarify/modify something. Originally Kanae is alive in this fic but after brainstorm, I realize it would add more depth and character if she was dead. Just to clarify
