My dog passed away at around 5:30 yesterday morning. Its almost been a full 24 hours yet it still sometimes doesnt feel real. Like hes downstairs sleeping on the couch. My sisters scared to go to bed because when she wakes up she'll forget and look for him. She said she cant handle that. So shes still up. Pushing herself to stay awake.
It hurts so much. And some people may think we're being dramatic but he was a huge part of our lives. And he was a gift from our dad who has passed away a few years ago. Something already feels wrong and that there's something missing. And its him. Hes no longer here. I could go on and on explaining everything in detailed words. But thats private and I doubt you all want to hear it.
Give your pups and other pets some love. You never truly know when they will be gone.
