@Der_Chancellor Your story is charming, I like it. Ways I think it could be improved are mostly personal preference, but: slow down the pacing, take time to describe your surroundings, even if it means less movement. Also, the grammar Nazi in me wants to check your floorboards, so maybe a little work on that. Either way, give your story time, mine didn't get any attention until well after I was like 5 chapters in.
