At work I was giving a man his receipt because he paid with a card and when I started to say goodbye and stuff I started to stutter so I ended up messing up my words:
          “Thank you and have a- 
          *he cut me off and quickly said* ‘Thank you, you too,’ and walked away
          “great gay, DAY” *I finished* and I laughed a little cuz I don’t think he heard me even say it like that  Oof
