          May its authentic value not be influenced by what you perceive around you, like by how extravagant other people's celebration is. Seeing them through the lenses of your present condition, you may think that they are more blessed than you as they owned material things you still don't possess, or perhaps, they have a complete loving family, supportive and joyous friends, and special someone. It's completely okay if your Christmas is different from the others— if you only have yourself today, if you merely lost someone you love, and if you're being betrayed by people you trusted. It's okay if your Christmas this year is simple. Its true value is not always measured by what you own, by the gifts you received from other people, and by the foods on your tables. The true value of Christmas is being found when we are thankful despite all the challenges we've been through this year, we still have chances to experience this gift of God. There are many ways to celebrate Christmas— choose what offers you happiness while imparting value to other people's lives.
