EVERYONE! THIS IS A PSA FOR PEOPLE ON WATTPAD!
I had someone who sent me a link to a what they claimed to be a meme and said "Haha, you gotta see this meme hahaha click here to see it" And then on top of the message was negative numbers and then a second message with the wattpad.com and next was the www.google.com after numbers and that message also had numbers. This account has no followers nor had anyone they followed and their account is older by 2024 April (This is what I saw from the person's account, It might be different in different situations. But this is exactly what I saw)
Do not click on links that redirect Wattpad to Google that has shortened URLS and with strange numbers, you need to be vary of the negative numbers as well, it could be foreshadowing that person trying to phishing and hack your account!
Instead of what you should do is to block that user and report it as spam and put in as phishing and hack and list the things you saw. (Like how I did it!) The reason why that person's message is not on my board is because I deleted it to protect my active reader from that person and to prevent you all and my active readers from getting hacked!
