At the end of the sequel, there is a time skip of around 10-11 years after the events with Alex, Y/N, Monte, Prysm and Junior living on the cherry blossom island. It explained that it took Y/N almost a decade to fully get over the trauma she experienced and gives a small description on how her and Monte's relationship has grown over time.
Prysm has a separate cabin to Monte, Y/N and Junior. Alex lives on the guardian with Junior most of the times acting as a roommate since Midnight's recent passing.
Junior and Alex travel the seas to their hearts content. Pierce and Tanya are happily together ruling the Nether. Junior is said to be 23 with Pierce being around 27 and Tanya being 28.
It also states that Herobrine tries to find more interesting people to help and save- like Y/N.
--- Also, in the one-shot novel that also was removed, there was also a Canon snippet of Y/N and Herobrine reuniting in Nirvana. Monte sits with Y/N during her final moments. Monte is states that he will be unable to see Y/N for at least 80 years at most (due to skeletons living to around 200). Herobrine welcomes her and mentions that he has made them a house in the realm. It ends with the iconic line "I love you, Hero" with beautiful ending that says Herobrine's eyes are "brighter than they've been before"
