 Hey, my sunflowers!

          	...slowly peeks around the corner...

          	So...

Is this where I pretend I wasn't gone for two weeks?

In my defence, Alex Black has been holding me hostage. I have asked for weekends off. She declined. I have filed complaints. They mysteriously disappeared.

I'm now in the final sprint to get Crossfire: Alex Black ready for my ARC readers by 10 July, which means my laptop, my playlist, and I have basically become one person.

          	Current situation:
          	Writing.
          	Editing.
          	Eating.
          	Dancing salsa in the kitchen.
          	Repeating the process.

Now... I have NOT forgotten about The Summer It Rained Ribbons.

Claire and Cypress are still living rent-free in my heart, and I miss them just as much as you do. They're simply being very patient while I wrestle a highly trained fictional spy into a finished manuscript.

Once my ARC copies go out on 10 July, regular updates will be back.

          	Promise. In the meantime...

Things have been absolutely wild over on my socials! I finally stopped hiding from Facebook and somehow it's actually growing.

If you'd like to keep up with all the behind-the-scenes chaos, random author moments, playlists, and book updates, come find me there too!

          	And... If you're new here...

          	WELCOME!

I'm Yuki Bonavich, a sapphic thriller author with a slightly unhealthy obsession with dangerous women, impossible missions, conspiracy theories, emotional damage, and plot twists that hopefully make you question your life choices.

Thank you for sticking around while I disappear into editing caves every now and then. You're all absolute legends. Now if you'll excuse me... Alex Black is glaring at me from Chapter 63.

...and I genuinely fear for my safety.

          	Love you all.

I accidentally created a Facebook group. haha...

Apparently that's what happens when you spend too much time writing political conspiracies, morally questionable women, and characters who refuse to behave. (◔‿◔)

 ARC READER CALL

          Hi, lovely readers!

After a lot of writing, editing, coffee, late nights, and more editing, I'm getting closer to releasing my upcoming novel, Crossfire: Alex Black.

I'm looking for approximately 20 ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) readers who would like to receive an early digital copy before publication.

          If you enjoy:
          • Sapphic romance
          • Psychological suspense
          • Espionage and military thrillers
          • Morally grey characters
          • Slow-burn obsession and high-stakes tension

...then this might be the book for you.

As an ARC reader, you'll receive an advance copy of the novel before release and, if you enjoy it, I'd be grateful for an honest review when the book launches.

If you're interested, please send me a message on Instagram:

           @yukibonavich

Please include the words "Crossfire ARC" in your message so I can keep track of everyone.

Thank you for supporting my stories, my characters, and this journey. Watching Alex Black's story finally move toward publication has been one of the most exciting experiences of my writing life, and I'd love to share this stage with some of you.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads, stepdads, granddads, bonus dads, pet dads, and the dads who still insist they don't need directions while being completely lost. This is a classic one.┗(•ˇ_ˇ•)―→

I hope your breakfast was huge, your feet are up high relaxing, the barbecue is spicy, and nobody buys you socks as a gift.

As for me, I'm spending the weekend doing what I do best—writing, editing, deleting things I wrote yesterday, and then putting them back because apparently yesterday's version wasn't so bad after all. I actually like it this morning. Haha...

          Speaking of writing...

Crossfire: Alex Black has started receiving its first pre-orders, and I’m sitting here smiling like someone just handed me treasure. ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Thank you to everyone supporting Alex before she officially steps into the world. It means more than you know.

Every pre-order means the world to an indie author. Knowing someone out there is willing to take a chance on a story you've spent countless hours building is a feeling that's hard to describe.

So if you've supported me again, thank you. And if you're new here, welcome to my little corner of sapphic chaos.(*^3^)/~♡

          Now tell me:

 CHAPTER 25 IS LIVE

          The Day We Stopped Pretending

          Guys...

          What just happened?✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

I sat staring at my screen for a ridiculous amount of time after finishing this chapter because these two women are absolutely exhausting.

One minute they're determined to walk away.

The next minute... I'm not saying. Haha..

Somebody crossed a continent. Somebody crossed a line.

Somebody may have done something they definitely should not have done.

And somebody finally said the quiet part out loud.

          The problem?

Saying the truth doesn't always fix the damage.

That's all I'm saying. No spoilers. No hints.
          No warnings.

Just know that if you've been waiting for Claire and Cyprus to stop dancing around the real issue...

Chapter 25 might be the chapter you've been waiting for.

Or the chapter that makes you want to throw your phone.

          Possibly both.

The Day We Stopped Pretending is now live.

 AUTHOR BROADCAST

          Dear readers,

I hope you're all having a lovely evening because Cyprus Voss absolutely is not.

At the moment she's standing outside Claire's front door in Geneva looking like a woman who just signed her own fate and then drove across the city to make sure it hurt properly.

Somewhere in the distance Brooke is rolling her eyes.

Sophie's existing thinking she's winning Claire's heart and Claire is trying to have peace.

          And Cyprus? Well...

          Cyprus is Cyprus.

          (✷‿✷)

So chapter twenty four is now live. I need to know:

          Are we forgiving Cyprus?

Or are we making her suffer a little longer?

(And by "a little longer" I mean emotionally devastating levels of suffering because apparently that's what this book has become.)

Drop your votes and theories below.

          Love,

 Dear readers,

So... it appears I completely missed the bus on my posting schedule last week. (✯ᴗ✯)

Before anyone sends a search party, I'm still here, still writing, and still spending an unreasonable amount of time making sure Alex Black behaves herself long enough for me to finish Crossfire.

In the meantime, Cypress Voss has been giving me side-eye from the corner and reminding me that The Summer It Rained Ribbons exists and that readers are waiting.

Thank you for being patient with me while I wrestle timelines, research notes, medical logs, and a cast of characters who seem determined to make my job harder.

A new chapter is coming tomorrow, Wednesday, then my weekend updates stands the same. (๑♡⌓♡๑)

Until then, tell me: what's the last book, song, or movie that completely stole your attention?

 CHAPTER 24 IS LIVE

          Okay...

          WHAT.

          JUST.

          HAPPENED.

I honestly don't even know what to say about this chapter.

Claire is trying to move on.

          Finley finally reached her limit.

          And Cyprus?

Let's just say jealousy is a dangerous thing when you're a billionaire who isn't used to hearing the word no.

I knew this chapter would be emotional, but I wasn't prepared for how quickly things spiralled once Cyprus realised Claire might actually be building a life without her.

          And that ending...

          Yeah.

That ending scares me a little.

          Question for everyone:

If you were Claire, would you forgive Cyprus after everything that's happened?

Or has she already gone too far?

Chapter 24 is live now. Grab your coffee, tea, snacks, emotional support animals, and prepare yourselves because Switzerland is about to become very complicated. ✈️

Happy Pride Month, my beautiful Wattpad family! ♡

Pride isn't just a month. It's a celebration of love, identity, courage, community, and the freedom to be exactly who you are.

Whether you're going to attend a parade, spending time with friends, reading your favourite LGBTQ+ stories, discovering new authors, waving a flag, or simply being yourself, I hope this month brings you joy, acceptance, and lots of reasons to smile.

This Pride Month is especially meaningful to me because it's one I'll never forget. On June 28th, my debut novel CROSSFIRE ALEX BLACK, THE BEAST AT MIDNIGHT THRILLER launches on Amazon! ♡

What started as an idea became a story, then a manuscript, and now it's becoming a real book. Reaching this milestone during Pride Month feels incredibly special, especially as someone who loves writing stories featuring strong sapphic characters and relationships.

After years of writing, dreaming, editing, and believing, it's finally happening.

Thank you to everyone who has read my stories, left comments, voted, shared my stories, and supported me throughout this journey. Every read, every message, and every bit of encouragement helped me get here. ♡

          Wow.

This chapter was crazy to write.

Chapter 23 — My Heart in Flight is now live. ️

For the first time in a very long time, Claire stops asking what Cyprus wants and starts thinking about what she wants.

          And honestly?

Even though she still loves Cyprus, she finally holds her ground.

          No running back.
No begging or changing her mind.

          Just Claire making a choice.

Whether it's the right one... well... that's another story.

All I'm saying is that some distances are measured in miles, and some are measured in heartbreak.

Go read Chapter 23 and then come find me because I need to know:

Were you proud of Claire... or did this chapter break your heart too?
