Yuki Kazeko

Hello everyone! It's been... an insanely long time, hasn't it? I wanted to finally give a proper update on my writing, because... I actually have one now!
          
          First off, the Pokémon fanfic is still on hold and (still not dead - although I'm fully aware this bit feels like empty words at this point... I'm mostly just adding this, because I don't want people to think this update is about that fanfic.)
          
          Instead, I want to announce I've actually been working on a fanfic for an entirely different franchise! I've actually been writing!
          
          Before you say "your just sprouting ideas your not acting on again..." I've actually been publicly sharing progress in the form of Arc names on my X account for the entirety of March. I've been working REALLY HARD on writing something. It's the first time I've taken the time to properly outline something before writing it.
          
          Now, I do have to admit progress has temporary halted, because my 6 year old laptop has finally broken and the replacement is coming sometime after April 17th, so I had to stop writing for now. All the planning for the story has been completed and the moment I get that computer, I can begin writing!
          
          As for the story, it will be my first time diving into the Persona Franchise! For basic details:
          -The plot is heavily structured after Persona 5 Royal, but will contain elements from Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5: The Phantom X
          -Main Characters will be from Persona 5 and Persona 3 (P5X characters will appear, but be less important to the overall plot)
          -As per my usual writing, the story will revolve around an OC named Yuki Kazeko.
          
          The current plan is for this to be a 2 book story, but due to the 200 chapter limitation per story, I will be uploading each arc as its own book. As of my computer being destroyed, only the first book has been fully planned out in writing.

So I've been attempting to write.
          
          It's... not looking promising to have something ready before the end of the year.
          
          I swear to Arceus: the story has still been in my brain. FOR YEARS. STILL THINKING ABOUT IT. (If anything, the Mega Dimension DLC gave me another arc idea. I knew I should of tried writing the next book before the DLC came out. I knew this was gonna happen LOL - The idea has been planted in my mind, but I don't know yet if it will ever take root.)

          For those curious about my upcoming competitive Pokémon plans: I'm gonna be signing up for EUIC 2026. I haven't actually played since last EUIC (as I went to Worlds as a spectator.)
          
          Currently have no definitive plans after that (besides grabbing spectator passes for Worlds in 2026 - whenever those go up.)

Seeing all the Mega Evolution Reveals (especially today's) is getting my creative brain flowing! I BETTER ACT ON IT SOON!

Pokémon Worlds this year was so fun! I'm definitely gonna try going again next year!

          ...Ya know, that's how I wrote my stories. All my stories. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. :(

I wanted to let you all know that Book 5 has been delayed until further notice.
          
          Again.
          
          ...Despite knowing what I want to do, the words just don't flow. :/

I just wanted to say that the next Pokémon competition I'm going to is WORLDS. Anaheim, CA.
          
          ...As a spectator. All 3 days. :) (Yes, I got lucky with spectator passes.)

I keep saying this: writing the beginning of a book is always the hardest part for me. (After I get the first few chapters down, the rest flows easier.)
          
          ...I'm putting book 5 on hold again. Even though I know what I want to do, I can't seem to write it down in a way I'm happy with. :/
          
          I think I'll start a non-Pokémon side project to work my way back into writing decently enough. :']

I took down Book 5, since I genuinely did not think it was gonna take me this long to write the first chapter. I genuinely thought I would of had chapter 1 up during that time period I got insanely sick.
          
          I'll actually put book 5 back up when the chapter is done. Sorry for the inconvenience.
