Hi,
I just wanted to say- It'll take a while until DoD will get a cover. I am firmly against using AI to make covers, so commissioned a friend of mine to make one for me. I did not give them a deadline, however, because I don't want to pressure them, so it'll be ready when it's ready.

Trust me, I didn't die, I just can't upload anything right now because I am neck-deep in exam preparations.
My exam is tomorrow, and I CANNOT fail it because if I do, I'll have to abort my studies. This is my third attempt already. I have to lock in and pass it, I've been busy studying for it since the beginning of July, so I could only update pre-written stuff. Come tomorrow, when I'll finally have it behind me (while hoping and praying I'll pass), I can start writing again. So please, bear with me- I will continue writing once I have the time and capacity to do so.

@StarCrystel7 Zudem hab ich viele von den Sachen geschrieben, als ich, keine Ahnung, 15 oder so war. Mittlerweile ist mir vieles davon viel zu cringe und ich denke mir nur so 'was hab ich damals für einen Rotz geschrieben?' Bei SoT war insbesondere der Anfang voll mit zu viel Filler, weshalb ich es auf dem Account hier nochmal von vorne angefangen habe, um den Anfang umzuschreiben und nebenbei unnötigen Filler raus zu nehmen und generell die Qualität des Werkes aufzupolieren. Sieh den Account hier als Neuanfang an, wo ich Qualität über Quantität stellen möchte. Das heißt, anstatt dass ich mehrere Projekte parallel anfange und keins davon zu Ende bringe, will ich mich hier auf weniger Projekte fokussieren, aber diese dann aber auch qualitativ möglichst gut aufs Blatt bringen.

Is it just me or has the amount of random accounts posting useless comments like “what you write is great and I can help you promote it, contact me here *lists links to insta and whatnot*” or "I'm an artist and I want to turn your book into art, please reach out to me here *lists socials*" increased? I'm literally 6 chapters into SoT and already got like five or six of those. It's mildly aggravating because I'm hoping for comments with actual feedback on my writing so I can improve the quality of my work and these comments from not even a month old probably bot accounts are annoying the hell out of me because they feel like spam with how often I get these. The "your writing was so captivating and I like how you have woven it all together, anyway so please contact me here for some kind of service" feels faker than a Ditto using Transform, they are not genuine compliments no matter how honey-tongued these words are. Please stop doing this, it's literally so infuriating. Thanks.

I also did art for the major characters which I might upload at the end of some chapters, like I did on Ao3
@YukigakureEN ig thats the right thing to do. did u draw ur book cover? bc if u did u draw so good!! im an artist too but i only sketch on paper i might start digital art tho
@aintnoway_x I sometimes really have to bite my tongue to not start using foul language to reply to them because I know it's pointless. It especially pisses me off because I myself am an artist and I do my own character art >:( Grrr So yeah nowadays I just delete all the bot comments I get and move on with my life
