Hey, Yunalesca! I hope you’re doing well and fine these dayssss!!

Hello! It's been a while, so I wanted to give a little update. I am still around, but motivation hasn't been kicking in when it comes to writing. Whenever I sit down to write, I end up just not wanting to. I was writing for two years straight, and I hardly took a break from it. I would write almost every single day at the same time, and towards the end of last year, I was no longer happy with what I was writing. I don't know if it was showing in my writing, but I was tired, and I needed a break. I gave it a few months and attempted the ONC this year, but still, there was no motivation to write. I didn't finish in time to enter the story into round 3, but I'm honestly okay with that. I already knew before that I had no intention of actually finishing the story in time. I will eventually finish it, but I will work on it slowly. 
          
          The same can be said for all of my stories. I am not quitting writing. I love writing, but it is just a hobby, and I want to make time to do other things. It's been nice taking a break from writing constantly like I was. I would like to slowly transition back into writing, but I won't push myself as I did in the past. But I wanted to let everyone know my thoughts since it's been a while!

I just realized Yunalesca is the name from my favorite game Final Fantasy X

Life update since it's been a while. I apologize for my absence for almost two months now. A lot has happened since the end of November. I will be writing again hopefully soon, but probably not until the end of this month/early February. 
          
          The end of December and this whole year so far have been really hard. There was a lot of drama that made me lose a friend and almost my sister, and at the beginning of this year, my dog had to be put down. It's been really hard these last few days, and I'm still not recovered from all of this, I highly doubt I will be for a long time. My dog, Presto, was my best friend. Being without him doesn't feel right, and I've basically taken a break from most things that I used to love doing. I will get back into the swing of things eventually, but I need time. 
          
          There have been some good things as well. At the end of November, I started dating someone, and things with him have been great. He's extremely kind and supportive, and he's been the best thing about the end of last year. My time has been spent with him instead of writing, but I will get back to it soon!
