Hi sorry for not updating my band book! I didn't do marching band last year so content was hard for me to find. And now I'm in college and I kinda saw this comming and basically I'm insanely busy and wattpad isn't my top priority right now. I am a Music Ed. Major for those curious and my primary insturment is trumpet! I love it, but its busy. You have to really love all the little bits and pieces of music. Again sorry for no updates.

Okay, funny band story that happened today. We were playing an arrangement of the music from Rogue One, and we got to a certain part of the Imperial Suite where one of the trombones (Trent) started splatting this one note. Our band director called him Captain Splat and said that would be his name until he fixed the splatting. (FYI, there are five horns, all girls. Two in the third row, three in the fourth. I'm on the fourth on the inside, Alex is in the middle, and Taylor is on the end). After the director called him that, I turned to Taylor and said, "Congratulations, Taylor! You're dating Captain Splat!" This caused all three of us to crack up. Mr Loyd looked at us strangely and commented that someone really like Trent's new name. The other two horns were like, "What's going on?" It was hilarious

This was my eighth grade year So the eighth graders had a dedicated night to march with the high school for Pink out. I'm a percussionist, so I was on the snare line, next to one of my friends' brothers who also plays snare. We were playing Mansfield Legacy, and we did a meet the band game with them. They would ask their name, their favorite Disney movie or villain, and if they were single or taken. Every time someone said they were single, Reed (the guy I was next to) would play William Tell Overture on snare. It was hilarious at the time.

So, last year we onlg had 5 clarinets (all girls) includeing me. And there were about 10 low brass members (2 girls 8 guys). The low brass, around Competition time, chalenged us to a 1.2. Battle. We yelled at each other for half the Sectional. The low brass won and the clarinets couldn't talk.
