I'm 27, a first-generation Latina college student, and I've always dreamed of becoming an author-even if life had a few twists in mind before letting me fully dive in. Thanks to some recent plot twists of my own, I decided it was time to pick up the pen again. By day, I'm studying at Cal State Long Beach, working toward becoming an elementary teacher. By night (or any spare minute, really), I'm writing stories and embracing the chaos of learning as I go. I love dogs, coffee, and the hope that someday, I'll be known as a writer in more than just my own head.
