So chapter 5 is done. 7000 words. Holy balls its been a while since I got the word count up that high. With this chapter done, that's the end of the prologue. We are now officially getting into the canon events of the story.

So Chapter 4 is now done. Its mostly exposition so yeah, took a bit to get through it. I'm hoping that Chapter 5 can wrap up the stories prologue and let us start getting into the main story. I also need to let you all know that I scored a job now that I've got a CDL. I'm gonna be away from home for three weeks and working pretty much 12 hour shifts for those 3 weeks. After that, I'll get 4 days off. I'm gonna try and keep the writing up consistently fast while I'm working, especially since I'm having much more fun with this story than I was with AWAR.

So chapter 3 is already done... 5500 words. Haven't written like this in a while. Lets keep up the pace.

Chapter 2 of How Devils Cry is gonna be up at 8. It's around 3500 words. I'm gonna be honest, I'm having much more fun writing this than I was AWAR. I don't, however, enjoy having to watch the anime over for the fic. I'll read DXD stories all day long, but I hate the anime. Oh well, small price to pay for a Devil May Cry fic. 

So two things. One, the DXD story is going up tomorrow morning. I'm excited to start working on something new and a little more light hearted than what I normally do. Stick around to the end of the chapter to get some general information about the story going forward as well. Second, apparently Wattpad took issue with the thumbnail to chapter 30 of AWAR. All I can say to that is grow up. The story is marked Mature for a reason.

And other thing, I'm up to 3000 words on chapter 30 of AWAR. This will be the last one for a while. After that is released, I'm gonna work on that DXD crossover with DMC that I've been talking about. As such, I'm wanting to get a lot covered for what's coming next for AWAR, especially since I'm planning on getting back into that canon events.

So I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I just read that RWBY is finally greenlit for Volume 10. I honestly didn't think that would happen. I figured that the show would either remain in development hell or get a reboot. So what does that mean for Wilted Rose since I started and completed my own take on Volume 10? Well the way I see it, I just got a blank check. Now I can REALLY go off the rails with it. I will be doing a canon take on volume 10 and leave that open for future volumes. As for what I have now, I'm gonna get back to it eventually, and when I do, I'm doing exactly what I want to do with it since it has effectively became a "If" story. This is all provided what I read wasn't just a bunch of bullshit.

So I got some great news and some not so great news. To start with, I now have a Class A CDL. Not a learners permit, a actual CDL license. I did it fellas. The not so great news is that on the way back home, my tire decided that I can have none things and burst. You win some, you lose some. 

So, I finished the chapter. Chapter 29 of AWAR will be up tomorrow at 8. I'm so sorry that it took so long, but like I said previously, School has been kicking my ass. Tomorrow is my test out, so wish me luck. After that, I'm gonna take the time to get chapter 30 up and going to finish out this arc. After that, I want to try and give the DXD story I've been cooking up some work. Might get a chapter for that soon.

We're almost there fellas. Got today, tomorrow and then I can take my CDL test. It's been a pain in the ass and it's cut severely into my writing, but it's been worth it. I'm about to be making big money.
