Today, in 1983, the world almost ceased to exist. One minor computer glitch nearly caused global thermonuclear war. One man, Colonel Stanislav Petrov, defied his peers and the technology he was charged with monitoring. This “nuclear scare” serves as the basis for my only work thus far; “Valley Where the Mushrooms Grow.”
