I am a Syrian fiction writer, columnist, copywriter, and translator based in Athens, Greece. I write in both Arabic and English. 

I have two published short story collections: In Death Veritas (2014) and Vera and Other Stories (2015). The latter is published by the Experimental Museum of Literature in Piraeus, Greece (Πειραματικό Μουσείο Λογοτεχνίας). Currently, I am working on my third collection, and my first in Arabic, titled Al Maout Lil Sahra'a (Death to the Desert).

I love reading fiction and non-fiction books alike. My favorite authors include: Anton Chekhov, Edgar Alan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ernest Hemingway, and Charles Dickens. 

I also write weekly articles for a Syrian newspaper.
