I suppose in a sense I can be considered a YA writer? I try to add my own take on common topics. None of my writing is overly serious or overly funny because neither is life. I always wondered why people in soap operas talked to each other if they clearly make each other miserable, so I guess that could be why. Like many authors, I spend a good chunk of life living in y head, so I always have a story brewing. You'd be surprised how many stories come to be just because of a silly crush, hence always having an elaborate love story of some sort. "The Bus Stop Kids" is available on eBook, but self publishing is expensive, so I've turned to Wattpad.

Examples of living in my head:
"What's it like to be a Vampire" lead to "The Hole In My Hand"
"That dream I had as a kid where me and my friends turned into monsters. That was weird" lead to "The Fiend Boy"
"I can totally picture Deftones "White Pony" having a story go along to it" lead to "The Bus Stop Kids"
The list goes on, and proceeds.
