Why do we have silent letters in words? Who sat down one day and thought, "Yeah, let's make 'knight' sound exactly like 'night' but make it unnecessarily complicated"? And don't even get me started on how pigeons can recognize human faces, but I still can't remember where I put my phone after setting it down for two seconds. Well, that's me.
