Hey, to all 38 of you.

Quick question ☝️ if I wrote a book (which I kinda am doing) would first or third person be better?

I'm currently writing in third because of all the perspectives I'm covering, but just for interest sake what is people's preference?

Hope y'all have a wonderful day or night further.

          	Xx Zahlé

@Zahleeloff hey sweety. I will definitely read your book. I prefer writing in third person because it allows me to describe everything as an outsider/ a narrator. First person allows you to connect on a personal level with the characters, as though you are your character. Third person lets you experience the story as though you are watching (or reading) a movie. Hope that helps. <3

@emilyclara97 yeah that makes sense... I'm in two minds because I feel like it does create tension the way it Is... but at the same time I feel it's more difficult to write in 3rd person because of constant repetition of names maybe if I ever do share it I will see feedback... idk

I always choose point of view based on the story. If I think it can be told from one point of view or having it told from one point of view will create more tension (e.g. the protagonist telling the story doesn’t know a big plot point and it will be more effective to have the reader find it out with them rather than through another character. However, the latter would create tension as the reader waits for the protagonist to discover it). So, that probably doesn’t help lol, but yeah. I choose point of view based on the story and whether I think it’s effective to have one person telling it or not. Hope this helps

Hi, I wasn't able to see your response to my comment in WAOTBBW for the chapter Just Her, because the original comment was deleted. I would really love to know what you said!

Haha that's fine thanks!

@closetnarcissist__ hey, I actyally can't remmeber, exactly, butnit was something along the lines of the book not being tirled K and L's story. No one can actually even be certain that the story is about them and if people are too narrow minded to realise it thet must STFU
