I prefer the term storyteller as opposed to writer. I try not to take myself too seriously as I feel storytelling should be fun and spontaneous. I'm shy and introverted, telling stories and writing them down is how I use my voice. One of my favorite quotes is by John Green "Writing is something you do alone. Its a profession for introverts who want to tell you a story but don't want to make eye contact while doing it."
