 Happy Colgate Day Raider hockey family! Today marks 12 days until the annual Don Vaughan Classic where Colgate and Clarkson will fight for the Vaughan-McGraw trophy (which needs no introduction). After a terrible loss to their despised rivals, Colgate men’s hockey is back in Hamilton to conclude matters with Cornell this evening. John McGraw will be on the call and I’ll be listening to him describe the game like very few people can as he broadcasts on ESPN plus. I will also have the game for you on Wattpad as always!  It is rivalry week as the Colgate University Raiders play the Cornell University Big Red in a home and home, weekend series. It is expected to be Andrew Takacs and Ian Shane in net for either side as we see who rules Central New York this year! This is also a battle of the past two ECAC Hockey Champions! For the 169th time in history, it’s Colgate! It’s Cornell! Let’s get it on!

           Welcome to Sarah Culver Arena for Unadilla Valley Storm hockey! UV is the best basketball program in Central New York and this series won’t be about the boys basketball team. Instead, Sarah Culver Arena plays host to a boys and girls hockey program with a hope of someday, winning sectionals if not states!

 We have rivalry games coming up for you this upcoming weekend when the Cornell Big Red take on your COLGATE RAIDERS! These two teams have a lot still to play for in terms of college hockey rankings and the ECAC Hockey Conference standings where Colgate reigns supreme at this moment. Colgate coach Mike Harder and junior goalie Andrew Takacs will need to be on their A game against a very talented Cornell team hoping for a signature win over their despised rivals. So, can Colgate take down the high flying Big Red? Find out this weekend as the Route 13 Rivalry takes center stage!

 Tomorrow, we will have a special edition of Road To Hobey with Evgeny Gorbachev! Gorbachev will be playing his former team in the form of the Cornell Big Red which will always be a special game for Evgeny and I because of his and my connection to either side! See you tomorrow and peace!
