I'm Zak, an aspiring teen author, born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand.
So, either you've stumbled across my profile for no real reason and your gonna click away and go back to whatever it was you were doing real soon. OR, maybe just maybe, you've read a piece of my work, and your intrigued, if you fit in that second scenario, you've made my day, and your awesome. If your that other guy, WAITT!! take a look at what I've got, maybe you'll be surprised? maybe you'll like it? maybe?
So I've been interested in writing for a long time, from little scribbly stories when I was little, to year long projects when this really became a dream and aspiration of mine. I really enjoy YA fantasy and Science Fiction stuff, which also is the stuff I tend to write, when I say Sci-Fi though, I don't quite mean PEW PEW Spaceship kinda stuff, but more unique, "donno what you'd call it so I guess its Sci-Fi kind of Sci-Fi"
So for the last few years my minds been set on being an author, but when it came to consistently writing I was pretty terrible, however, a day doesn't go by when I don't zone out and start thinking about my next big idea. Then, not long ago, I came across Wattpad. I'm loving the idea of getting feedback from people other than my family that aren't afraid to hurt my feelings. So, in an effort to really spark that fire that is my passion and dream, i'm gonna start uploading here. Now, im not just gonna start pouring my big projects out here, as they are projects on a pretty massive scale, a scale I don't want to commit myself to yet, as I'm starting to realise that for now, there a bit too big. So, starting small, im going to start publishing a series of short stories based in a similar world to one of my previous fantasy projects and see where that takes me. Thank you, yes you, right there, staring at the screen, for hearing my story and taking a look at what this aspiring author has to offer, and I look forward to seeing what you have to say along my journey :)
